Joint Celebration of the Korean and Indian Independence Days

On August 22nd, we will celebrate the Korean and Indian Independence Days. This year it will be held at the Promise Church in Flushing Queens at 10:00am.

We will use the Gethsemane Chapel for the gathering. The event is sponsored by the Multicultural Council of New York, the Shanti Fund and the Indian Consulate of New York. We also have the support of Garak Clan Association Eastern USA Chapter, the Indian American International Chamber of Commerce, the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of the Northeast and finally, of the Korean American Heritage Society. We also want to thank the leadership and congregation of the Promise Church for allowing us to use their beautiful facility.
