The MultiCultural Council of New York, along with the Queens Public Library, and the Korean Education of New York were proud to sponsor a cooking show which highlighted the medicinal, emotional, and spiritual qualities that have been touted by so many cultures of the magical elixir known as "Chicken Soup". The soup in this case is called Samguetang, and is prepared in the Korean style as shown to us by our resident chef and storyteller, Soh Young Lee-Segredo. Chef Lee-Segredo will mix her cooking talents, folksy ness, along with her research on the origins, the vitamins delivered and the purported miraculous cures brought about by this universal elixir, at least as far as her mother is concerned.
