National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME)'s 25th Anniversary National Conference

National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME)'s 25th Anniversary National Conference took place at Sheraton Hotel, New Orleans.  It's member, Soh Young Lee-Segredo was honored with the Equity, Social Justice Advocacy Award on Sat, October 3, 2015 at the President Gala. There is NAME International Chapter in S. Korea.  Next year's National Conference is in Cleveland, Ohio. Soh Young Lee-Segredo is a public school teacher, singer, multicultural performer, community activist and mentor. 
She is NAACP Life time members. In 2012 she founded Multicultural Council of NY, Inc (MCCNY). and she writes creative community grants so she can assist local communities with art and education. MCCNY is recipient of NYS Arts Grant for 2014 and 2015.
